Japanese dining has a new address on Palm Jumeirah. AKA Sushi Restaurant is now open at Mileo The Palm Hotel, pairing a menu shaped by Japanese culinary traditions with live DJ entertainment for a memorable meal on the palm tree-shaped island.
Leading the kitchen is Executive Chef Hisatsugu Muneta. Originally from Osaka, he has spent 21 years working across Japan, Hong Kong and Dubai, developing his expertise in sushi, omakase and traditional Japanese cooking.
Muneta’s marvellous menu offers plenty to explore beyond sushi. Signature dishes include the Yakiniku Roll and Unagi Maki, alongside Black Cod, Wagyu Short Ribs and Wagyu Sando. Japanese techniques underpin the offering, with premium ingredients and contemporary interpretations adding variety to the culinary line-up.
Live DJ performances accompany dinner, making music central to the venue’s identity. The restaurant also boasts stylish interiors, creating a setting for both intimate meals and celebratory bookings.
AKA Sushi Restaurant joins an impressive collection of dining and lifestyle destinations at Mileo The Palm Hotel. Guests can indulge in Mediterranean flavours at Papagalos, enjoy handcrafted cocktails, delectable canapés and vibrant nightlife at AYA The Rooftop, or experience relaxed all-day dining at AY Restaurant. For a wellness-inspired experience, Matcha 16 Café offers speciality matcha creations and wholesome bites, while Fanzone Sports Bar brings sports enthusiasts together with big-screen action and an electric match-day atmosphere.
