Partner Content: AMAYA is now MYA, bringing the established Dubai-born dining destination under a shorter, stronger name while keeping the same culinary direction, signature shisha, celebrity appeal and Burj Khalifa views.
AMAYA is now MYA. The Dubai-born dining and lifestyle destination has adopted a shorter name as its presence continues to grow across regional and international markets. But for guests, the experience remains firmly familiar.
The same founders and leadership remain behind the brand. The same team, culinary direction, service standards, atmosphere and guest experience continue at its Dubai Mall home. MYA simply gives the identity a shorter and more consistent expression as the brand expands beyond Dubai.
Founded by Murat Tutuncu and Moe Ezzat, MYA carries forward everything that established AMAYA as one of Dubai Mall’s recognisable dining destinations.

“Strong brands grow through clarity, consistency and trust. MYA gives the name we have built a sharper global expression. Our people, standards and guest experience remain exactly the same. One name. One vision. One uncompromising standard, built in Dubai and continuing forward as MYA.”
Some restaurant reservations start with the menu. Others start with the view. At MYA, both deserve your attention.
Overlooking the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain, the restaurant gives diners one of Downtown Dubai’s most dramatic backdrops. A table facing the fountains can turn dinner into an occasion, particularly as the city lights up after sunset.
Inside, MYA has its own visual talking points. Art by Joseph Klibansky, including the much-photographed purple bear sculpture, gives the restaurant its distinctive, Instagrammable identity.

The menu continues to cross borders comfortably. Mediterranean influences sit alongside Asian dishes and international favourites, with sushi, pasta, seafood, steaks, burgers and pizzas among the options.
Shisha also remains an important part of the MYA experience. The selection ranges from familiar flavours such as Double Apple and Mint to combinations including Blueberry Cream and Peach Mojito. Paired with the lounge atmosphere and Dubai Fountain views, it gives the venue an appeal that stretches well beyond the dining table.
Then there is the celebrity following.
Fat Joe, French Montana, Offset, Rema, Rick Ross, Swae Lee, Ty Dolla $ign, YG and Busta Rhymes are among the music names who have visited, while footballers Aurélien Tchouaméni and Marco Asensio show that MYA’s celebrity appeal extends beyond entertainment.

That guest list has become part of the restaurant’s identity, but it is only one part of the story. The combination of international cuisine, signature shisha, art-led interiors and front-row Downtown Dubai views has helped establish the venue as both a dining destination and a social hotspot.
The name may now be shorter, but the reasons to visit remain the same: a menu designed for different appetites, an unmistakable setting, a lively atmosphere and views that can hold their own against the famous faces.
AMAYA is now MYA. Same DNA. Same vision. Same experience.
