Atlantis The Royal will open The Garden Bar, a new open-air lounge set within the resort’s landscaped grounds.
The Royal Pool will gain a new family pool, additional sunbeds, in-pool loungers and air-conditioned cabanas.
Cloud 22 is being reconfigured with a relocated Lotus Bar and space for 40 additional sunbeds.

Atlantis The Royal has added another address to Dubai’s alfresco dining scene. The latest round of updates from the mega-resort brings changes to the brand, including The Garden Bar and a revamped pool area at Atlantis The Royal.
At Atlantis The Royal, the headline addition is The Garden Bar & Lounge, now open, and offering cocktails, small plates and views of the Skyblaze fountain. With a Riviera-inspired feel and an evening-only schedule, the new venue is ideal for aperitifs and nightcaps.
Greenery, natural textures and gold detailing shape the space, creating a garden setting within the resort. Music provides the soundtrack as the evening unfolds, while the Skyblaze fountain show and fire performances on the Elements Terrace add a touch of theatre to proceedings.
The drinks menu centres on The Garden Cocktail Collection, which brings signature creations together with familiar classics. Gin enthusiasts have their own section to explore, too. The Gin Garden offers a range of premium gins, matched with selected tonics and garnishes inspired by the venue’s garden setting. Serves span spicy, herbal, citrus and floral notes, giving guests different flavour profiles to choose from.
There’s plenty to order alongside those drinks. Crispy mille-feuille potatoes arrive with finger lime, Maldon salt and a fine herb emulsion, while the Wagyu beef slider combines pickled piquillo peppers, raclette cheese and basil emulsion. Elsewhere, wild mushroom parfait is paired with truffle, toasted sourdough and pecan crumble. Popcorn prawns come dressed with a sweet pepper glaze and fresh lime, offering another option to share around the table. For dessert, the selection includes Fruit Garden, pistachio ice cream, and a sugar and almond chouquette served with Amalfi lemon and chocolate sauce.
The resort’s Royal Pool is also being upgraded with new family-friendly facilities. A new family pool will be added, along with about 60 additional sunbeds, three in-pool loungers, and three air-conditioned cabanas. The expansion is designed to give families more space and flexibility for day-long pool visits.
Named ‘Best Swimming Pool in Dubai’ at the FACT Spa & Wellness Awards 2026, Cloud 22 is being reconfigured to increase its poolside capacity. Soaring 96 meters above Palm Jumeirah, the skyline venue offers a 90-meter infinity pool with panoramic views of the Palm islands. As part of the refresh, the Insta-worthy Lotus Bar will move to the opposite side of the venue, allowing the existing space to be transformed into a larger sun deck, accommodating 40 more sunbeds.
Over at Atlantis, The Palm, Plato’s Lounge has been expanded into the resort’s main lobby. The refreshed space features a new terrace balcony, more than double the original seating capacity and a cascading water feature. Ossiano is also undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment and is expected to open in mid-November.
Beyond the resorts, Aquaventure World has undergone extensive refurbishment across the waterpark and is preparing to introduce Poseidon’s Village. The new dining destination will feature almost 400 indoor seats and nearly 300 outdoor seats, making it the waterpark’s largest dining venue.
Of all the upcoming changes at Atlantis Dubai, The Garden Bar and Royal Pool upgrades at Atlantis The Royal are perhaps the most anticipated. Together, these additions reinforce the resort’s focus on outdoor leisure, creating more places for guests to slow down, socialise and make the most of their stay.
