MICRO MUTEK.AE is gearing up for its third instalment, set to take place at Alserkal Avenue from 4 to 5 May. This festival aims to blend art and technology, providing an immersive experience. The event will feature over 30 regional and international artists and 22 performances over a packed weekend.

The weekend will feature five key series — Play, Nocturne, Digi Lab, Dome Live, and Dome Screenings. The Play series unfolds at The Fridge Warehouse, offering an intimate evening filled with audio-visual performances and sensory experiences. Nocturne presents a series of late-night electronic music performances and live music productions, offering the perfect setting for dancing and a celebration of digital arts.

Digi Lab, the festival’s Professional and Educational daytime program, delves into the creative industries. At the Performance Laboratory, budding musicians get to create some tunes alongside Peter Kirn and Serena Abou Daher. Over at the Gear Lab, get a tutorial on how to work with electronic music gadgets like synths. And lastly, the TouchDesigner Workshop lets you master the art of visual digital creation. Through these panels and immersive workshops, you will gain valuable insights into modern industry issues, creative practices, and current industry trends.

The Dome Live shows are transcendent 360-degree audio-visual experiences, taking place at Hemisphere 141. You can immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind space to witness unmissable sets accompanied by surreal 360 visuals. Additionally, the Dome Screenings program features captivating visual artistry.

MUTEK.AE is taking digital innovation to new heights with its ticketing experience. Each ticket purchased will comprise a unique, collectible NFT. All individual tickets will be combined into a collective piece, creating a one-of-a-kind artwork that will be auctioned to support an environmental charity registered in the UAE.
