Dibba Bay Oyster Festival returns to the UAE

Seafood lovers, the Dibba Bay Oyster Festival is back, and it’s bigger, better, and more shuck-tacular than ever before. Taking place from 16 to 25 February, this year marks the third edition of this unmissable festival.

The Dibba Bay Oyster Festival brings the community together for oyster celebrations with educational activities and entertainment. And FACT — being a Dibba Bay friend — is here to tell you all you need to know.

Make your way to one of Dibba Bay’s outlets in Dubai, located at Fishing Harbor 2 in Umm Suqeim and Sheraton Hotel JBR, where they’ll be serving up tantalising “Oyster Hour” specials throughout the festival. Slurp down freshly shucked oysters and maybe even compete with your friends to see who can shuck the most oysters.

You can also head over to the Dibba Bay oyster farm from 17 to 18 February as it’s throwing open its gates for a weekend of exploration and indulgence. Embark on a guided tour of the onshore facility, hop aboard a boat to witness the oysters in their natural habitat, and tantalise your taste buds with a curated oyster-tasting experience.

Prepare yourselves for the ultimate showdown as chefs from across the UAE battle it out for the prestigious title of UAE Shucking Champion at the Dibba Bay Oyster Shuck Off. Hosted at Taste of Dubai from 23 to 25 February, this adrenaline-fueled event promises thrills, spills, and plenty of oysters. Industry experts will be on the ground as well to share their shucking secrets and hold a special masterclass.

And that’s not all. Dibba Bay has teamed up with some of the UAE’s finest restaurants to bring you exclusive oyster offers and mouthwatering menus throughout the festival. You can choose from Alici, BOCA, Jun’s, Kinoya, Fiya and a whole lot more to celebrate the festival.
