Dubai Food Festival is officially set to return
Details about the upcoming 11th edition have been announced – and there’s lots to get through.
Any plans to diet or detox will have to wait as the Dubai Food Festival is officially set to return for its eleventh edition. Kicking off on 19 April, the citywide event will see 23 days worth of food-related events, activities, promotions, and appearances by food celebrities, each highlighting and celebrating Dubai’s dynamic culinary scene – homegrown heroes and fine-dining experiences included. This year, the festival aims to illuminate the city’s culinary creativity by offering an array of immersive culinary experiences. These include the opportunity to savour MICHELIN-starred menus crafted by celebrity chefs and explore sustainable dining practices. Additionally, the festival will pay tribute to the contributions of chefs, culinary pioneers, gourmet influencers, and tastemakers who play pivotal roles in shaping and enriching Dubai’s gastronomic scene.
Highlighted events at the festival include the much-anticipated return of Dubai Restaurant Week, featuring exclusive set menus at exceptional prices across over 50 premier restaurants in the city. Also on offer is the iconic 10 Dirham Dish, providing an opportunity to indulge in affordable delicacies from diverse venues across Dubai.
Families can enjoy the beloved e& Beach Canteen, a dining pop-up showcasing and celebrating new homegrown concepts. Additionally, visitors can explore Foodie Experiences, a meticulously curated selection of diverse culinary activations at various locations throughout the city, exclusively available during the Dubai Food Festival.
New to the lineup is the Chefs’ Menu, presenting specially crafted dishes at a set price for a limited time from some of the city’s finest dining establishments, with the chance to meet and converse with talented chefs.
Dubai Food Festival takes place place from Friday 19 April to Sunday 12 May 2024.
