This marks the Parisian restaurant’s first international outpost.

The City of Light has officially arrived in the heart of Dubai. Get ready to welcome Brasserie Lutetia, where classic French cuisine meets Dubai’s glamour, now open at Sofitel Dubai Downtown, offering a slice of Parisian elegance.

Taking its name from Lutetia, the ancient Roman title for Paris, the brasserie is a tribute to the French capital’s timeless charm. But this isn’t a replica — it’s a reimagination. From buttery croissants and café melodies in the morning to candlelit dinners, Brasserie Lutetia brings a distinctly French rhythm to Dubai’s dynamic dining scene.

Step inside and you’ll discover vintage-style mirrors, mosaic-tiled floors, and soft, golden lighting that lend the space an air of Parisian glamour. Yet, subtle nods to Dubai’s innovative edge are everywhere, including a hydroponic farm at the heart of the restaurant. This living installation supplies the kitchen with fresh greens and herbs, showcasing the venue’s commitment to conscious dining.

Three distinct dining zones set the tone for varied experiences. The central bar is perfect for socialising over crisp De Mûre Highballs and Crème Brûlée Espresso Martinis. The main dining area is an inviting and elegant ode to classic brasserie warmth. And for something truly special, the private dining room offers a cocoon of exclusivity amid a lush, green backdrop.

Elevating the experience further is La Terrasse, an outdoor extension on the fourth floor framed by the full vertical farm. Here, with views of Downtown Dubai and the scent of fresh herbs in the air, guests can dine alfresco.

The menu, led by a seasonally inspired philosophy, is a journey through modern French flavours. Highlights include a rich and soulful Bœuf Bourguignon with wild mushrooms, the Yellowtail Tiradito with passion fruit and pickled beet, and vibrant vegetarian dishes like the Josperized Carottes with tahina and Ras el Hanout. There’s also indulgence in every bite of the Lobster Linguine and the Angus burger, topped with bacon jam.

Desserts are where the chefs truly play, from the tropical brightness of the Omelette Norvégienne to the nostalgic whimsy of the Rocher, a multi-layered confection of hazelnut and praline.
