The restaurant unites UAE-based chefs to Cook for Lebanon.
Community spirit runs deep in the UAE. From sharing fridges during Ramadan to rescuing stray animals found along highways, the community always looks for ways to give back. Now, the culinary community is coming together for a great cause.Â
Taking place at Bistro Des Arts on Sunday, 27 October, Cook for Lebanon is a charity event where some of Dubai’s most celebrated culinary names will unite to lend support to those affected by the recent tragic events in Lebanon. It also aims to pay homage to Chef Greg Malouf, a global culinary maestro, who passed away last month.
As part of the event, Bistro Des Arts at the Marina Promenade will deliver a five-course set menu showcasing the flavours of Lebanese cuisine. Curated by a stellar lineup of UAE-based chefs, this evening will surely be a feast for the greater good. Ali Fouad from Jumeirah Al Qasr, Bethany Kehdy, author of The Jewelled Table and The Jewelled Kitchen, Rita Soueidan of Maisan 15 and Marwan Sardouk of KATA are coming together to curate this five-course menu. Each chef will bring their personal flair and expertise, ensuring that this dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.
Prices for the menu at Bistro Des Arts start at AED 300 per person and go up to AED 550 per person, including a selection of beverages. All proceedings collected from the Cook for Lebanon campaign will go to an official charity organisation that provides relief and support services to those affected in Lebanon.Â
So, if you’re a fan of Lebanese cuisine or simply looking to participate in a noble cause, Cook for Lebanon at Bistro Des Arts offers the perfect opportunity. Plus, with the holiday season fast approaching, this is a nice way to kickstart the season of giving.
