The restaurant arrives in Dubai from Iran.

If there’s one thing Dubai does really well, it’s dining. The city’s culinary scene is packed with diverse flavours, and Haft Khan Dubai is steeped in heritage, flavour, and flair. The new restaurant, a beloved culinary institution from Shiraz, Iran, is set to make its mark on the buzzing beachfront district of JBR, bringing a taste of Persian hospitality to the city’s cosmopolitan crowd.

Famed in Iran for its immersive dining experience and elevated take on traditional Persian cuisine, the upcoming Dubai outpost is poised to channel the same spirit, blending nostalgic recipes with contemporary presentation. Although the Haft Khan Dubai menu remains under wraps, those familiar with the original in Shiraz can expect rich, saffron-infused rice dishes, slow-cooked stews, freshly baked Persian bread, vibrant salads, and standout dishes like kalam polo —a fragrant mix of cabbage, rice, and herbs. Fresh juices, such as pomegranate, are also a signature.

Haft Khan Dubai

Adding to the appeal, Haft Khan in Dubai will feature a dedicated shisha lounge, offering the perfect spot to unwind after a meal or for laid-back evening gatherings.

In Shiraz, Haft Khan is renowned not only for its food but also for its stunning setting. The space is divided into several distinct areas, from traditional takht-style seating and elegant dining halls to live music zones. Dubai’s version is expected to capture that same eclectic charm.

JBR is home to some of Dubai’s most popular restaurants. Highlights include Ammos for upscale Greek fare, The MAINE Oyster Bar & Grill for seafood lovers, and Fogueira for premium Brazilian churrasco with skyline views.

Whether you’re planning a family meal, catching up with friends, or enjoying a date night with a twist, Haft Khan in Dubai is shaping up to be a must-visit restaurant.
