Trèsind Studio teams up with Indian Accent for a two-night culinary collab

The only Indian Michelin-Starred restaurant in UAE is back with another exciting collab.

Considering team FACT hailed Trèsind Studio as ‘Restaurant of the Year’ at the FACT Dining Awards Dubai 2021, it’s evident that we’re big fans of Chef Himanshu Saini’s culinary prowess. Now, the young tastemaker is gearing up to join forces with Chef Manish Mehrotra for an exciting dining event on 3 and 4 September. But who is Manish? And what makes this series of intimate collaborative dinners worth the wait?

Chef Manish Mehrotra is renowned for his innovative take on Indian cuisine. He has revolutionised the gastronomic landscape with an impeccable blend of tradition and contemporary flair. As the executive chef of Indian Accent in Delhi and New York and the author of the Indian Accent Cookbook, he has garnered both regional and global acclaim.

Mehrotra’s culinary philosophy centres on reimagining classic Indian flavours through modern techniques and combining them with global influences. With an artful approach, he crafts intricate plates that evoke nostalgia while sparking curiosity. Whether it’s his playful use of regional ingredients or his imaginative presentation, every dish is a storytelling masterpiece.

Having claimed the title of India’s best restaurant since its inception and its current ranking at number 19 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, Indian Accent has been instrumental in putting Indian food on the world map.

As a protégée of Chef Manish and a former employee of Indian Accent, this culinary collaboration provides the ideal opportunity for Chef Himanshu Saini to pay homage to his biggest inspiration.

Trèsind Studio is famed for its modern Indian dishes, which are a thing of beauty. Chef Himanshu Saini is behind the contemporary, fine-dining Indian menu. His culinary creations weave tradition with modernity, resulting in captivating and flavourful dishes. Saini’s expertise lies in deconstructing familiar flavours and presenting them in innovative ways, pushing the boundaries of gastronomy. With a passion for meticulous detail and a deep understanding of ingredients, he crafts immersive dining experiences that leave a lasting impression. Trèsind Studio’s everyday tasting menu includes a generous sixteen courses, which is just as fancy for vegetarians as it is for meat-eaters. We can only imagine that it’s going to be just as exciting with this exclusive dining collaboration.

Trèsind Studio is one of Dubai’s most critically acclaimed restaurants, as it was awarded two MICHELIN Stars and was recently ranked number two in the MENA region on the 50 Best Restaurants list in 2023.

Previous collaborations at Trèsind Studio have been with Mexican chef Jorge Vallejo, Indian chefs Hussain Shahzad and Prateek Sadhu, Belgian chef Christophe Hardiquest and Germans chefs Mathias and Thomas Suhrinf.

Trèsind Studio’s collaboration takes place on 3 and 4 September, with sittings taking place at 6pm and 9pm. The dinner costs AED 1,195 per person.

We’re expecting this to a be a hot dinner, so book early.
