The viral cookie concept is getting a permanent address in the UAE this year.
The United Arab Emirates is known for being a foodie paradise, so it’s no surprise that one of Australia’s sweetest spots is gearing up to land on UAE soil. Say hello to Brooki Bakehouse, which will soon find a permanent address in the emirates.
Arada has invested AED60 million in Brooki Bakehouse, the Australian bakery concept that has become a social media sensation for its indulgent cookies, celebration cakes and signature pink aesthetic. The deal sets the stage for international expansion that starts in the United Arab Emirates this year, followed by expansion into additional global markets in 2026.

Brooki Bakehouse made its UAE debut as a pop-up at Abu Dhabi’s MOTN festival last year and quickly became a hit. Lines of eager cookie lovers, including FACT Editor-in-Chief, were seen waiting for hours to snag a box of these treats. The overwhelmingly positive response made it clear that the UAE was ready for Brooki Bakehouse to stick around.
Founded in 2022 by pastry entrepreneur Brooke Bellamy, Brooki Bakehouse began life in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. In just a few years, it has evolved into one of Australia’s most recognisable dessert brands, cultivating a community of more than four million fans worldwide. The brand is famed for queues that regularly wrap around the block, driven by demand for its decadent cookies and playful, nostalgia-driven treats.
Brooki Bakehouse is known for its chunky, New York-style cookies with a variety of delicious flavours. The signature offerings include the NYC Cookie (dark chocolate and walnut), Milk Choc Hazelnut (injected with Nutella), Cookie Butter (injected with Biscoff), Red Velvet and Double Chocolate. They also offer seasonal and limited-edition flavours.

Brooke Bellamy, Founder of Brooki Bakehouse, said: “This transaction is about taking an Australian story to a global stage. We built Brooki from scratch — no shortcuts, no compromises — and now, with Arada, we have the platform and resources to share our creativity, quality, and community with the world.” Arada was chosen from a field of interested international investors and franchise groups, selected for its alignment with Brooki’s focus on creativity, design and lifestyle-driven experiences.
In the UAE, Arada’s hospitality and entertainment division will roll out a series of Brooki Bakehouse pop-ups from the end of November, with appearances confirmed in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Two flagship stores are set to open in the first quarter of next year, introducing Brooki’s full experience to dessert lovers in the region.
