Enjoy samosas, shrimps and soups at the new restaurant.
Riksha is bringing the taste of India to the UAE. Located in Muwaileh and Souyoh Mall in Sharjah, the brand aims to bring the soul of India with every dish. If you’re looking for a new Indian restaurant to visit, here’s what you need to know.
In India, riksha refers to the auto rickshaw, which is a three-wheeled vehicle. The transportation is used as a taxi and is also known as a tuk-tuk. The venue has a rustic vibe, featuring black and white stools, wooden tables and chairs, and shelves filled with spices.

The menu for Riksha spans soups, salads, small plates, rice, curry, bread, sides and desserts. It’s not often that Indian restaurants have a soup section. The soups range from Murgh Shorba to Shrimp Shorba. The salads include Corn Salad, Palak Papadam, and Potato Chickpea Salad. The small plates include Dahi Puri, Lamb Seekh Kebab, and Riksha Loaded.
If you’re a fan of samosa, choose from the Butter Chicken Samosa, Cheese Samosa, and Punjabi Samosa Chaat. The biryani dishes are served on elegant platters and include the Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, and Shrimp Biryani.

If you prefer a traditional option, consider ordering one of the curries. Traditional dishes include Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Makhani, and Mutton Curry. Plus, there is a Shrimp Curry, which is inspired by South Indian spices. Scoop up the flavours with a range of rice or breads – options include naan, paratha, and roti.
Riksha is open daily from 12pm to 11pm in Muwaileh, and 12pm to 11pm in Souyoh Mall.
