Aman Group’s Janu is bringing a hotel, private residences and a beach club to Ras Al Khaimah.

Aman Group’s Janu is preparing to make its mark on the UAE, and its latest announcement puts Ras Al Khaimah firmly in the frame. Janu Residences, Al Marjan Island, has been unveiled alongside plans for a 132-room hotel, bringing beachfront homes, dining destinations and an extensive wellness offering to the emirate.

Founded in 2020, Janu takes its name from the Sanskrit word for soul and opened its first hotel, Janu Tokyo, in March 2024. Socialising and wellbeing shape the brand’s approach, with spaces designed to bring guests and residents together.

Jointly developed by Marjan and Wynn Resorts, the Al Marjan Island project has been designed by SCDA Architects. Construction began in July 2026, and the plans include 73 branded residences, alongside five Marina Villas positioned on the eastern shoreline.

The homes range from one-bedroom residences measuring 197 square metres to a five-bedroom penthouse spanning 1,761 square metres. Large terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows will maximise the Arabian Gulf views, while selected properties feature private swimming pools and double-height living spaces. The Marina Villas will face the sunrise.

Residents will have their own entrance lobby, lounge and fitness centre, as well as access to the hotel’s facilities. A 265-metre private beach provides space to unwind by the water, while mooring access at Wynn Marina will accommodate yachts measuring up to 85 metres.

Wellness will play a prominent role, with the 2,496-square-metre Janu Spa and Wellness Centre offering cryotherapy facilities alongside fitness spaces. A padel court and 30-metre swimming pool will expand the options for staying active. Six dining and entertainment destinations are also planned, including the brand’s Chinese restaurant, Hu Jing, and a beach club.

Janu joins a growing collection of projects reshaping Al Marjan Island. Its neighbour, Wynn Al Marjan Island, is scheduled to open in September 2027 as the UAE’s first integrated resort. The development will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, bars and lounges, a beach club, shopping and live entertainment.

Elsewhere on the island, Nikki Beach Ras Al Khaimah will bring the beach club brand’s approach to waterfront living with a beach lounge, clubhouse, yoga spaces and treatment facilities, adding another recognisable name to Al Marjan Island’s expanding residential and leisure lineup.
