The Middle East’s largest sports and entertainment festival is turning up the volume. Emirates Dubai 7s has confirmed a heavyweight music line-up for its 2026 edition at The Sevens Stadium. Across the weekend, fans can catch performances from Jax Jones and Spice Girl, Melanie C in the Dubai desert.

Melanie C will play on Saturday, 28 November 2026, with Jax Jones following on Sunday, 29 November 2026. Both will perform headline DJ sets on Beats on 2, the festival’s outdoor party spot.

Melanie C’s story begins with one of British pop’s most influential groups. As Sporty Spice, she helped the Spice Girls turn Girl Power into a global cultural movement during the 1990s. Songs such as “Wannabe”, “Say You’ll Be There” and “Spice Up Your Life” remain central to a legacy that stretches well beyond the group’s original run.

Her solo career has been equally varied. Her 1999 debut album, Northern Star, included “Never Be the Same Again” with Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and “I Turn to You”, both of which reached number one in the UK charts. Her duet with Bryan Adams, “When You’re Gone”, added another enduring favourite to that catalogue.

Jax Jones first made a major mark on the charts through “I Got U”, his collaboration with Duke Dumont that reached number one in the UK charts in 2014. The London DJ, producer and songwriter has since built a catalogue that connects club production with memorable pop vocals. Among his top tracks are “You Don’t Know Me” with RAYE and “Breath”e with Norwegian singer Ina Wroldsen.

His collaborative approach has produced a varied run of dance hits. “Instruction” teamed him with Demi Lovato and Stefflon Don, while “Out Out” united him with Joel Corry, Charli XCX and Saweetie.

First held in 1970, the Emirates Dubai 7s predates the formation of the UAE and has grown from matches on sand into an international festival. This year, it hosts the opening round of the 2026/27 HSBC SVNS Series, placing the world’s leading men’s and women’s rugby sevens teams at the heart of the weekend.

The fetical programme includes cricket, netball, padel and WODON3 fitness, with Gaelic football joining for the first time in 2026. Family Friday provides activities for younger visitors, while music across four stages gives spectators plenty to explore between matches.

Tickets to see Jax Jones and Melanie C live at the Emirates Dubai 7s are available now.
