Katy Perry will headline Atlantis, The Palm’s New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner on 31 December 2026.
The performance will feature hits including "Firework", "Roar", "Last Friday Night" and "Dark Horse".
Tickets start from AED 8,500, with Golden Circle packages and private VIP Sky Suites also available.
The global pop superstar will ring in 2027 with a hit-packed performance, fireworks and one of Dubai’s most extravagant gala dinners.
The UAE’s New Year’s Eve celebrations are getting a serious dose of pop power. Katy Perry will headline the New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner at Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai on Thursday, 31 December 2026, performing beneath the stars as the city counts down to 2027.
Following previous headline performances from Lionel Richie and Maroon 5, the five-time American Music Award winner will take centre stage for an open-air set featuring some of the biggest songs of her career. The setlist is expected to include “Firework”, “Roar”, “Last Friday Night” and “Dark Horse”, before the evening culminates in a midnight fireworks display stretching across the skyline from Atlantis, The Palm to Atlantis The Royal.
Perry’s rise to pop superstardom began with the release of One of the Boys in 2008. Its breakout single, “I Kissed a Girl”, introduced her provocative pop persona to a global audience, while “Hot N Cold” confirmed that she was far from a one-hit wonder. However, it was 2010’s Teenage Dream that cemented her position among the defining pop stars of her generation.
The album spawned a remarkable run of hits, including “California Gurls” with Snoop Dogg, “Teenage Dream“, “Firework“, “E.T.” with Kanye West and “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”.
Across her career, Perry has amassed 36 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, including nine number-one singles. More recently, Perry embarked on The Lifetimes Tour, a sci-fi-inspired arena spectacle supporting her 2024 album 143. Launching in Mexico City in April 2025, the production stretched across more than 80 performances and combined new material with the colourful hits that made her famous. The tour later became the subject of the concert film Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris, which premiered at New York’s Tribeca Festival in June 2026.
Perry has also taken her ambitions considerably higher than the concert stage. On 14 April 2025, she joined Lauren Sánchez, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyễn and Kerianne Flynn aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard NS-31 mission. The approximately 11-minute journey became the first all-female spaceflight since Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova’s solo mission in 1963. During the flight, Perry experienced weightlessness and carried a daisy as a tribute to her daughter.
Back on Earth, the singer continued releasing music in 2026, including the single “Watch It Burn”, which arrived in June. Now, Dubai is next.
The entertainment extends far beyond the headline performance. Taking place on a custom-built outdoor deck overlooking Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai skyline, the black-tie celebration begins at 6pm with canapés, welcome drinks and roaming performers.
A 30-piece live band will provide the soundtrack before Perry takes to the stage, while the culinary offering includes lobster, caviar, sushi, live cooking stations, desserts and petit fours. Champagne and premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also flow throughout the evening.
How to get tickets
Several ticket categories to see Katy Perry live in Dubai are available. Premium Seating starts from AED 8,500 for guests aged 14 and above and AED 6,500 for children aged four to 13, while the Rouge Circle starts from AED 10,500 per adult and places guests close to the stage. Golden Circle tickets start from AED 14,500 and include prime seating, premium Champagne, a caviar box, personalised truffle service and upgraded wines and spirits.
For those going all out, the VIP Sky Suites return with elevated views, dedicated butler service and dishes from several of the resort’s restaurants. Aurora suites start from AED 250,000 for up to 10 guests, while Celestial suites start from AED 400,000 for up to 10 guests.
Children can also join the celebrations, with the Asateer Tent transformed into a dedicated party zone featuring a giant slide, bouncy castle, outdoor cinema, games, arts and crafts.
