Dancefloor favourites get an orchestral makeover on Saturday, 7 November 2026.

Dubai is turning up the volume with Ministry of Sound Classical. Returning to Dubai Opera on Saturday, 7 November 2026, the event gives the tracks that soundtracked countless nights out a symphonic twist.

Taking over the Main Auditorium, the concert features a 31-piece orchestra and live vocalists, with a sound and light show completing the experience. Presented by Dubai Opera in collaboration with Mac Global, the evening draws on dance music from the 1990s and beyond.

The programme includes top tracks such as Darude’s “Sandstorm“, Dario G’s “Sunchyme“, Faithless’ “Insomnia” and Fatboy “Slim’s Right Here, Right Now“. For anyone whose formative nights out involved these tracks, there is plenty of nostalgia on the programme. Hearing those familiar melodies performed by an orchestra offers another reason to revisit them.

Paired with a dazzling sound and light show, this one-off event reimagines dance hits into symphonic masterpieces, blending nostalgia with a fresh, unforgettable experience. The shows include thrilling sets with state-of-the-art production and lighting installations. Plus, guest vocalists and a full orchestra.

The concept has already found an audience well beyond the club. Ministry of Sound Classical has sold out London’s Royal Albert Hall and headlined Gone Wild Festival, The Big Feastival and Silverstone Festival.

Behind the show is a name with more than three decades of dancefloor history. Ministry of Sound opened in London in 1991, inspired by co-founder Justin Berkmann’s experiences at New York’s Paradise Garage. His ambition was to create a venue where the music and sound system took priority, with a dancefloor open to everyone.

That philosophy helped establish the club as a fixture of London nightlife. Its main room, The Box, has hosted artists including Larry Levan, DJ Harvey, Fatboy Slim and Armand Van Helden. The Classical project offers a different setting for celebrating the music at the heart of that legacy, connecting club culture with the concert hall.

Tickets for Ministry of Sound Classical live in Dubai are available now and are priced from AED 350.
