A new luxury escape is preparing to open in Hatta. Caravan Hatta by Our Habitas will welcome its first guests on 28 September 2026, marking the experiential hospitality brand’s debut in the UAE. Located at Hatta Resorts, the property sits against the dramatic Hajar Mountains and overlooks the turquoise waters of Hatta Dam. Rates will start from AED 1,200 per night.
Accommodation comes in the form of 50 bespoke Airstream Caravans, comprising 13 Ridge Caravans and 37 Peak Caravans, with views across either the valley or lake. The interiors take their cues from the Hajar Mountains, using shades of sand, terracotta, clay and stone alongside raw wood, woven rattan and natural linen. Handcrafted furnishings and bohemian textiles subtly reference Emirati nomadic traditions. Each caravan includes a queen bed with premium linens, a dinette, pantry, bathroom, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a private wooden deck.
Guests will also find a communal infinity pool framed by mountain views and an Observatory Deck for stargazing beneath Hatta’s famously clear skies. Bespoke in-room amenities have been created by homegrown brand Dastaangoi, adding another local element to the retreat.
Food takes centre stage at Madar, whose name means “Orbit” in Arabic. The chef-driven restaurant has been developed in collaboration with Paris Society Consulting and is designed as a communal dining destination beneath the open sky. Emirati influences and regional flavours shape the menu, with fresh local ingredients prepared using open-fire and underground cooking techniques. Poolside dining and live barbecue gatherings will add to the relaxed atmosphere, with the surrounding mountains providing a dramatic backdrop.
Guided by Our Habitas’ “Luxury for the Soul” philosophy, the retreat is designed around nature, community and a slower pace of travel. Rather than a conventional hotel stay, the concept encourages guests to spend more time outdoors, connect with the landscape and take part in shared experiences inspired by Hatta’s culture and heritage.

Caravan Hatta follows the success of Our Habitas AlUla in Saudi Arabia and builds on the partnership between Dubai Holding and Ennismore.
