Set to open in 2029, Solaya combines beachfront living, resort-style amenities, and easy access to central Dubai.
For years, La Mer has been one of Dubai’s most sought-after coastal destinations. Now, its beachfront setting is set to welcome a new residential address called Solaya. Slated to open in 2029, it’s already becoming a sought-after destination in Dubai.
Set on the beachfront, Solaya creates a private coastal enclave just minutes away from central Dubai. Despite being close to J1 Beach, which has established itself as one of Dubai’s premier destinations for dining and beachside experiences, with venues including the FACT award-winning Gigi Rigolatto and Sirene Beach by Gaia, it’s designed to feel intimate.

Solaya comprises 234 residences across nine buildings, with architecture by Foster + Partners and interiors by 1508 London. The design language is understated, using natural materials and neutral tones to allow the surrounding landscape to take centre stage. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the Arabian Gulf, while the living spaces extend naturally onto terraces and balconies. Indoor and outdoor areas are designed to work together, creating residences that feel connected to the coastline.
The Solaya collection spans two- to five-bedroom residences, with larger homes extending across thousands of square feet. At the more exclusive end of the collection are garden residences with private pools and courtyards, as well as four-bedroom duplexes offering sea and city views. Penthouses occupy the uppermost level of each building, providing the development’s most private and elevated homes with private pools, terraces, gyms, spas and cinemas.

Within Solaya’s landscaped grounds, residents have access to a dedicated Beach Park, swimming pools, wellness facilities, a fully equipped gym, spa and treatment rooms, residents’ lounges and a private cinema. Hotel-style services add further convenience, including concierge, valet, housekeeping, laundry and much more.
What makes Solaya particularly interesting is the balance it offers. Residents can spend the morning barefoot by the beach, enjoy lunch at one of J1 Beach’s restaurants, and still reach Dubai’s central districts shortly afterwards. It is this combination of beachfront living, privacy, design and connectivity that gives Solaya its distinctive appeal, offering a more considered way to experience life in Dubai.
