Surfbase in Dubai: The world’s largest indoor surf club is coming

Get ready to go with the flow. Surfbase Dubai, an indoor surf club, is opening in 2025. In true UAE-style, it will be a record-breaker – and home to the world’s largest artificial wave. 

Sports enthusiasts will love Surfbase Dubai. The centre will be a year-round surfing destination, which means that surfers won’t be dictated by the weather. The spot is aimed at beginners and professionals. So, no matter your level, lessons will be available for everyone, regardless of ability. 

If you want to ride the waves, you will be thrilled to hear that the waves reach between 0.8 to three metres high and 30 metres wide. The wave will be structured as a deep-water wave, which is great for classic surfing. The wave will also be able to go from gentle to agressive, so that surfers of all levels can take advantage of the experience. 

What makes Surfbase Dubai great is its safety measures. Since the centre is indoors, there are no reefs, dangerous waves and, of course, sharks. So, surfers can catch waves without worrying.
