Twiggy Family: A chic family-friendly beach club is coming to Dubai

The cool new concept is an extension of Twiggy by La Cantine.

If you have kids, you don’t have to scrimp on style. The hip hotspot Twiggy by La Cantine has opened a new family-friendly beach, Twiggy Family. So, if you are after Mediterranean vibes in Dubai, here’s what you need to know about the upcoming venue.

If Twiggy by La Cantine is anything to go by, we’re expecting Twiggy Family to be a chic yet child-friendly venue. Twiggy by La Cantine opened in 2021 and it is one of Dubai’s much loved beach clubs, so much so that it is a FACT Award-winner. 

Twiggy by La Cantine’s name is inspired by the British model Twiggy, who was famous in the sixties for her pixie cuts and mod-eye, lash-tastic make-up. Located in Park Hyatt Dubai in Dubai Creek, Twiggy Family will take over Al Porto Lagoon Beach. Plus, we are expecting it to serve up a similar menu to it’s sister venue – think a Mediterranean-inspired menu, from burrata to grilled dishes, a sushi selection and kid-friendly options, of course. 

The hospitality group Rikas Group is behind Twiggy by La Cantine and Twiggy Family. The company ihas also created cool concepts such as the recently opened venues ranging from Kyma Beach to Tagomago. The company’s portfolio also includes Gohan, La Cantine du Faubourg, Ninive and Mimi Kakushi. Plus, the upcoming venues include Chez Wam, Eugene and Xu.

The opening date for Twiggy Family has not yet been announced. The beach club will be open daily from 9am to sunset. Check in with FACT for the latest details.
