Janu Al Marjan is expected to open after Janu Dubai’s debut in 2027.
The UAE’s hospitality scene keeps raising the bar, and Ras Al Khaimah is next in line. AMAN Group has revealed Janu Al Marjan Island, a new resort and residences concept that brings the brand’s social, design-forward spirit to one of the country’s most picturesque coastlines. It will be the second Janu in the UAE, following Janu Dubai, which is scheduled to open in 2027.
Set on Al Marjan Island, the project promises a fresh take on seaside living. Singapore-based SCDA Architects lead the design, shaping a lively waterfront destination where lifestyle and community meet. Expect clean lines, generous glass, and open-air spaces that flow towards the water. The mood is contemporary yet relaxed, with architecture that invites daylight in and invites guests out.
The hotel will offer 132 keys, with every room and suite oriented to capture wide sea views. Interiors balance natural light, tactile textures, and minimalist detailing to create a calming retreat. Next door, a residential tower will introduce a limited collection of Janu Residences, including one to five-bedroom layouts and a handful of standalone villas. Residences will share the hotel’s design language and enjoy full access to resort amenities.

Dining will be a scene in its own right. Janu Al Marjan Island plans two restaurants, a Mixology Bar, and a nightlife venue. Menus are still under wraps, but the culinary direction will lean into seasonal produce and the brand’s philosophy of balance and wellbeing.
Wellness sits at the centre of the Janu experience. The resort’s Wellness Centre will feature a yoga studio, a state-of-the-art gym, a banya, and a hammam. Expect restorative rituals, movement classes, and spaces designed for mindful downtime. A dedicated Kids’ Club will keep younger guests entertained, while a private beach, Beach Club, and pool set the pace for sun-soaked days.
Janu, meaning ‘soul’ in Sanskrit, offers a unique take on hospitality where genuine human interaction, playful expression, and social wellness are at the core of the guest experience. It will be located directly across from Wynn Al Marjan Island.
Arch. Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Marjan, said, “The arrival of Janu Al Marjan Island by Aman Group marks a defining moment in Ras Al Khaimah’s evolution as a world-class lifestyle and hospitality destination. This collaboration with Aman Group and our partner Wynn Resorts reflects our commitment to curating exceptional experiences that resonate with discerning global travellers. Janu’s philosophy of soulful luxury aligns perfectly with our vision for Al Marjan Island, and we are proud to welcome this iconic brand to our growing portfolio of landmark developments.”
An opening date has not yet been announced. Given the brand’s timeline, Janu Al Marjan Island is expected to follow the debut of Janu Dubai. When it lands, this coastal address is poised to be one of the most anticipated openings in the Northern Emirates.
