The Christie’s auction also takes place in London.

Christie’s will present a live auction, Silsila, in Dubai, London and Paris. The event forms part of an ongoing collaboration between Dr Basel Dalloul and Christie’s. The Dalloul Collection showcases Arab art and celebrates the region’s rich heritage and cultural diversity.

Works from the Evening Sale will be exhibited at Christie’s Dubai from 3 to 10 October, Paris from 17 to 24 October, and London from 18 to 30 October. The full exhibition will open in London and run from 31 October to 6 November.

Christie’s Silsila

An online sale will run from 28 October to 11 November. The sale features museum-quality pieces as well as more accessible works, ranging from paintings and works on paper to photography and sculpture.

This specially curated selection includes works by Mohamed Melehi, Mahmoud Saïd, Dia Al-Azzawi and Marwan, as well as works by Huguette Caland, Paul Guiragossian, Samia Halaby and Kamal Boullata. Look out for pieces by artists with strong ties to Lebanon and Palestine – the ancestral homelands of the Dalloul family.

The Evening Sale also features works from other private collections. For example, the list includes La colline de Mekarzel by Mahmoud Saïd and Soukhour Meyrouba by Aref El Rayess. Plus, there is a landscape by Etel Adnan.
