Saudi Arabia’s transformation is moving at full speed, and the southwestern region of Jazan is stepping confidently into the spotlight. Sitting on the shores of the Red Sea and known for its fertile agricultural landscape, Jazan is the setting for Jaydana, a new waterfront destination that combines leisure, lifestyle and hospitality in one coastal address.
Jaydana is envisioned as a contemporary waterfront community that reflects Jazan’s character. The master plan blends modern architecture with elements inspired by local heritage and the region’s natural scenery, creating a seaside escape that feels both forward-thinking and authentically rooted in place.

One of the headline attractions will be a boutique resort with 425 keys, 12 dining concepts, dedicated wellness facilities, and even a mini F1 go-kart track, sure to appeal to thrill-seekers. An all-inclusive resort will cater to families and adventure-driven travellers, offering 315 rooms, nine restaurants, private beaches, a variety of water sports and flexible meeting spaces for events and corporate retreats.
Jaydana’s Wharf district is being positioned as a lifestyle hotspot. Here you will find fine-dining restaurants, boutique hotels, retail zones, office spaces, and residential units overlooking the water. A water park anchors the area, complete with 17 slides, wave pools and open spaces designed for community events and family-friendly activities.
For ocean enthusiasts, the Aquarium Mall will be a key draw. This marine-themed destination will combine immersive aquarium-style galleries with shopping, dining, a hotel, and serviced apartments, making it a full-day out for residents and visitors. Nearby, The Quay will act as a coastal social hub, bringing together 40 eateries, cultural spaces, beachside boutiques and a 160-key hotel.
Jaydana’s Yacht Club is set to elevate the marina lifestyle in Jazan, with a sizeable marina, seven restaurants, retail outlets, indoor sports zones, wellness facilities, event venues and a wide range of water-based activities. There will also be an indoor entertainment arena that features sports courts, family play areas, e-gaming zones and much more, adding to the destination’s appeal for all ages.
Those in search of a slower pace can look to the Beach Club and Resort. With 120 keys, nine restaurants, water sports and wellness experiences, it promises a serene escape on the sand without compromising on amenities.
While full details on Jaydana’s opening timeline have yet to be revealed, phase one of the project is already underway, signalling that the first components will come online in the near future.
