Discover this beach club before everyone else does

SOULBEACH opens at JA The Resort this Friday.

Beach clubs populated with Dubai’s “It” crowd are well and good, but if you’re in the mood to lounge away the weekend somewhere new and undiscovered, think SOULBEACH. Set against a backdrop of azure-blue seas and an expansive private beach at JA The Resort, this sprawling (read: 3,000 square metres) new lifestyle venue is set to open its doors on Friday, 4 February. As for what we know so far? It consists of an infinity pool, an indoor and outdoor restaurant and lounge, Aperol Lounge, Estrella Beach Bar, as well as a huge rooftop event space for starters.

SOULBEACH

The new destination promises to be a beach club with a difference, a colourful and vibrant concept that encourages individuality with soulful music and moreish food, offering a canvas for ‘everything to come to life’. Spinning the decks will be resident DJ Shehzad K, who first came into prominence when he won the Ministry of Sound DJ Academy in 2014 and has opened for the likes of Martin Garrix and Otto Knows. Here, he will be positioned high above the beach, offering an eclectic mix of house music styles – funky, vocal, tech and progressive included. There are multiple lounge areas ranging from the impressive beach to the centre-stage infinity pool to individual beach-bar lounges with comfortable bean bag seating and a striking sunbed that’s a whopping 26 metres in length.

SOULBEACH

Reminiscent of famous Ibiza pre-party hotspots, SOULBEACH will host daily sunset rituals, where performers and fire dancers welcome the change from day to night with celebratory party ceremonies. Entry to the venue provides full-day access to all areas at AED 150 per person from Monday to Friday (with AED 100 redeemable on food and beverage), and AED 200 per person on Saturdays and Sundays (with AED 150 redeemable on food and beverage). Shisha will be served on the beach, lounge and in individual cabanas, while the mixology offering will include an extensive creative cocktail menu of Soul Signatures, Soul Gins, Soul Collins and Soul Twists as well as a myriad of wines, beers and spirits.

SOULBEACH

The menu was designed by Chef Fredie Fouad, whose experience spans 23 years across Michelin-starred restaurants and upscale hotels in London, Paris, Gstaad, Sydney and Monaco, translating to dishes with South-of-France flair. There’s French Riviera Tuna Salad (a superbly fresh deconstructed Niçoise), Bouillabaisse (the classic Provençal seafood soup), and Grilled Lobster accented with spicy tarragon butter on offer alongside light bites like Pissaladiere, the signature flatbread of Liguria and Nice. The new venue is also set to host an array of lively events and collaboration nights in 2022, including a Ladies Day, Sunday Brunch called La Vie en Rose, a Saturday Pool Party, and Latin Fest, each to be announced in the months ahead.
