ME Dubai brings “World’s Best Bar 2019” Dante NYC to Dubai

The month-long experiential pop-up will take-over Botanica on the hotel’s ground floor.

ME Dubai, the only hotel in the Middle East to be fully designed both inside and out by Dame Zaha Hadid continues to elevate its social dining scene by bringing the internationally acclaimed and historic Dante NYC to the hotel for a memorable take-over experience.

Since its opening in 1915, Dante NYC has been a beacon for the community of Greenwich Village, in New York City. The venue has become one of the most renowned bars worldwide; winning the number one ranking in the 2019 World’s Best 50 Bars Awards and Best Bar in North America 2019 and 2020 in the World’s Best 50 Bars Awards.

Bringing a slice of New York City to Dubai, Dante NYC will pop up in Botanica, the sophisticated juniper bar with an Italian accent, located on the hotel’s ground floor. The special partnership will feature an exclusive cocktail menu that highlights the diversity and multiculturalism of Dubai. Aperitivo-style drinks such as the famous Dante Garibaldi, Chocolate Negroni and the Aperol Spritz will be served to refresh and liven the palate.

A team of acclaimed mixologists from Dante NYC including Chris Moore, Dante NYC Beverage Director, will take turns in joining Danilo Pozone, lead Mixologist and F&B Operations Manager during the pop-up.

Known for its historical integrity and sense of community, Dante NYC has been a long-time favourite for actors, writers, musicians, and artists, including Al Pacino, Alec Baldwin, Whoopi Goldberg, and Jerry Seinfeld, and Bob Dylan.

The month-long experiential pop-up will be open from 15 January to 13 February, from 5pm to midnight.
