Brass Monkey opens on Bluewaters Island

One for lovers of retro arcade games and bowling

Brass Monkey, a new gaming and entertainment hub opened its doors at Bluewaters Dubai over the weekend. The fun and colourful venue is open seven days a week and features a 12-lane bowling alley, VR racing simulator, snooker tables and more than 60 arcade games spread over two floors!

Whether you want to play, party or dine with friends and family, Brass Monkey aims to bring the fun with its extensive selection of retro video games! Shuffleboard, foosball tables, shoot-hoop, crane grabbers and even a love tester are available for your gaming pleasure. Games are played by purchasing a Play Pass Card from AED 100, with the credit redeemable on the various games. Better yet, the credit doesn’t expire, so guests can present their Play Pass Card to continue playing on future visits. Bowling is booked in-venue on a first-come, first-served basis.

The menu a Brass Monkey offers two cuisine choices. For a slice of Americana, there are sliders, tacos, pizzas and the legendary banana split, or if you fancy a taste of Asia, dishes include bao buns, gyoza, green curry mussels, miso salmon and short rib. Vegetarian and vegan guests can tuck into vegan tacos featuring mushrooms, avocado, vegan cheese and truffle oil, as well as a roasted purple cauliflower steak served with cauliflower puree.

Brass Monkey is fully licensed and aims to bring the fun with a weekly ladies night on Wednesday from 5pm to midnight with a selected menu and drinks package for AED 119. The Saturday Happy Hour also looks like one to watch, offering selected beverages for AED 25 between 5pm and 8pm.

Brass Monkey looks like a great place go ape and blow off some steam. A brunch is set to launching very soon but until then, there’s more than enough to keep you occupied!
