Dubai Bling: Who’s starring in Netflix’s new reality TV show?

Follow the lives of 10 Dubai millionaires from 27 October.

We all know that Dubai loves a bit of bling – it is the City of Gold, after all. Things are about to get a whole lot shinier, as Netflix’s new reality TV show Dubai Bling is about to drop.

Dubai Bling follows 10 Arab and expat millionaires who hail from Australia, Lebanon, India, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and, of course, the UAE. The cast consists of entertainers, influencers and socialites, darling.

The stars confirmed include Emirati DJ Bliss; Indian-born and Dubai-based Farhana Bodi; owner of Forever Rose and Forever Rose Café, Ebraheem Al Samadi; British Iraqi influencer, Safa; and Virgin Radio’s Kris Fade. So far, so Instagram.

Dubai has a global reputation for its wealth and opportunities, and the big budget docu-soap aims to share the stars’ stories. Plus, it will take you behind the velvet rope, so you can access their VIP lifestyle. Think all things glam – luxury cars, sprawling mansions, private helicopters, fashion shows, exotic resorts, A-list nightclubs and a whole lot of drama.

The first series of Dubai Bling will have 10 episodes, and is being aired in Arabic. Don’t worry, you can pop on English subtitles and join the party. Netflix have shared a trailer, which offers a peak of the action.

A voiceover states: “Trying and failing is not a mistake. The mistake is not even trying”. Another voiceover adds: “I like to say about myself that I’m rich and I like gifts”. While a final one says, in true reality TV style: “I don’t entertain two-faced people in my life”.

Thanks to Dubai’s luxurious buildings, restaurants and bars, the city is a ready-made set. There has been no shortage of shows set in Dubai. Just recently, OSN’s The Real Housewives of Dubai showcased some of the city’s most glamorous women. Plus, BBC’s Dubai Hustle told the story of young British expats fighting to make it to the top of the real estate world.

Dubai Bling airs on 27 October on Netflix. Habibi, your guilty pleasure awaits.
