Amazing artists Aminé, Ari Lennox and Bas join SOLE DXB

The hip-hop meets sneaker festival returns this December. 

SOLE DXB is bringing soul to Dubai. The hip-hop meets sneaker festival is back with a spectacular show. The incredible line-up is not just about music – sure, there are superstar singers, but there are also local and international designers, artists and athletes. Taking place at Dubai Design District (d3), it runs from 8 to 11 December. (Note: snazzy sneakers are optional.)

SOLE DXB hosts concerts throughout its three-day line-up. The festival brings together musicians from America including R&B singer Ari Lennox; rapper Aminé; Grammy nominated singer Mumu Fresh; Dreamville Records’ rapper Bas and soul singer Jorja Smith. Plus, the line-up includes British rapper Central Cee, and Arab stars Felukah, TAC and Freek. 

At SOLE DXB, guests can join workshops, panel discussions, sports tournaments and film screenings. This year’s festival has produced a campaign highlighting Moroccan culture, and the host is Moroccan visual artist Hassan Hajjaj. Plus, Moroccan guests include traditional singer and percussionist, Khadija El Warzazi, and the most listened-to artist in the MENA region on Spotify, ElGrande Toto.

The festival took a two-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and we are excited about its return. Judging from calibre of previous guests – from Stormzy to Petra Collins – it’s set to be one of the coolest festivals in Dubai. 

Joshua Cox, co-founder at SOLE DXB, explained: “This is a major milestone for us, having a decade under our belt. And we always knew the story would land right back where we started. This year, we’ve had the honour of working alongside our friend, Hassan Hajjaj, an artist that has dedicated his life to building the culture and elevating the contributions of the Arab world to it.”
