Catch nineties British boybands Blue, Boyz Life and Five in Dubai

Get ready for some pure pop. British boybands Blue, Boyz Life and Five are coming together for one night in Dubai. The Irish Village presents The Boys Are Back In Town takes place at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on 13 October. So, grab the scrunchies and plaid and get transported back to the nineties.

If you don’t know your Duncan James from Keith Duffy, we are here to help. Blue consists of Antony Costa, Duncan James and Simone Webbe. The group are best known for their hit songs All Rise, Too Close and One Love. In 2011, they reformed and represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest. Plus, the group performed at 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Boyz Life consists of two former boyband members: Keith Duffy from Boyzone and Brian McFadden from Westlife. The pair have released two albums: Strings Attached and Old School. We’re expecting them to play hits from their former groups, which range from Flying Without Wings to No Matter What.

Five consist of Abz Love, Ritchie Neville, Sean Conlon, Scott Robinson and Ritchie Neville. Hailing from London, their hit songs include Keep On Moving, Slam Dunk (Da Funk) and When The Lights Go Out. The group went on to sell more than 20 million records worldwide.

There are plenty of magnificent music events coming to the UAE. UNTOLD Dubai is a mega music festival taking place at EXPO City in February 2024, and was announced in style with DJ Armin van Buuren. KISS will perform in Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on 13 October, Robbie Williams will perform in the Etihad Arena on 18 October, and Bryan Adams will perform in Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on 4 November.
