adidas and Gucci drop an uber-cool collaboration

The Spring / Summer 2023 collection celebrates both brand’s legacies.

We love fashion collaborations at FACT. So, we were excited to hear about the partnership between the sports brand adidas and fashion house Gucci. The new line draws its inspiration from the past and future, and is part of adidas and Gucci’s Spring / Summer 2023 collection.

The adidas and Gucci partnership first launched in 2022, and returns with products that celebrate both brand’s legacies. The campaign has been shot by the Namibian German photographer Max Siedentopf. Plus, the collection showcases the Gazelle style and introduces the ZX8000.

The funky designs have given the classic silhouettes an upgrade. One of the highlights is a Gazelle sneaker, which reflects the Italian flag in its colour scheme, and features the iconic three stripes as well as a GG monogram. The ZX8000 boasts the signature sports brand’s silhouette, but also the fashion house’s bright palette of suedes. Plus, the slip-on shoes include the Adilette and Sideline, which come in eye-catching colours.

The collection is available on the recently launched Confirmed app. The app gives users exclusive access to new releases, which means you never have to miss a drop. The items include cool collaborations with Bad Bunny, BAPE and more. Plus, it will share the stories behind the sneakers and a look at the adidas community.

So far, the community stories include British fashion designer Gary Aspden, and the founders of the UK’s first women’s-only sneaker boutique, SHPTLKS. We’ve all heard about giving your home a makeover, but this teaches you how to give your sneakers a makeover.

The adidas and Gucci collection is available now.

A sucker for a good story, if you invite Kohinoor to a gallery, comedy night, new restaurant, hiking trip, cycle ride, pool day or just about any activity, she’ll probably say yes – that is if she isn’t busy planning her next adventure.
