Fashion brands Ounass and Represent unite to create a Middle East collection 

A pop-up shop is coming to Mall of the Emirates.

Collaborations can be a thing of beauty. Look at Ben and Jerry, and Lennon and McCartney. Now, the two fashion brands, Ounass and Represent, have worked together to create a collection that is exclusively available in the Middle East.

To mark the launch of the Ounass and Represent collaboration, there will be a pop-up shop in the Mall of the Emirates. Running from 15 to 22 December, it will showcase the items from the collection. Ounass is a Middle Eastern high-end brand, and Represent is a British luxury streetwear brand. The collection includes 14 new hoodies, T-shirts and sweatpants, which feature the region’s iconic animals, from the Arabian horse to Saker Falcon. Plus, there are items adorned with Arabic script.

Represent’s Creative Director and Co-Founder, George Heaton, explained: “We’re super excited to launch this collaboration with Ounass as our first physical presence within the UAE. Working with Ounass is something we’re really proud about, as their mission aligns with our mission to be the best at what we do. The collection has a distinctive palette and remains true to our DNA of vintage graphics and oversized silhouettes. An impactful campaign will lead into what I think will be our greatest build yet.”

Mike Heaton, Design Director and Co-Founder, added: “For the collection, signature graphic styles that have become synonymous with Represent’s identity such as Thoroughbred and Owners Club were reimagined with themes and imagery that paired with Ounass’ identity.

Wild Horses, is inspired by UAE’s equestrian desert races, high temperatures, large open expanses and horses bred for endurance – the T-shirt artwork depicts three wild horses charging through the desert.”
