Paco Rabanne rebrands with an upcoming beauty line

The makeup line will be released in September.

Brace yourselves for a new luxury beauty line that is about to make its mark on the market. Well, not entirely new – if we’re being completely honest. Paco Rabanne, the beloved fragrance brand, has recently undergone a rebranding process and will now go by the name Rabanne. On its 60th anniversary, the brand aims to release a beauty line that perfectly complements its existing fragrance collection, solidifying its presence across multiple fronts.

Rabanne

But why the name change, you may ask? Well, Rabanne wanted to keep things simple and appeal to a global audience as they celebrate their 60th anniversary. It’s all about gearing up for the future and bringing fashion, fragrance, and beauty under one stylish umbrella. Smart move, right?

They also have a brand new logo that pays homage to their founder, the late Paco Rabanne. The font is inspired by the letters on their first fragrance, Calandre, which was released in 1969. And get this – the logo cleverly combines an “r” and a “p” to create a unique symbol. If you’re observant, you’ll spot it in no time.

Rabanne

Following in the footsteps of renowned luxury brands like Dior, Chanel, Armani, Givenchy, and Valentino, Rabanne’s debut beauty line will include eye shadows, lip products, foundations and shimmering pigments that reflect the brand’s iconic colours. Could we anticipate palettes inspired by the designer’s legendary green dress, famously worn by Jane Fonda in Barbarella? Only time will tell, as the makeup line is set to launch in September.
