A spectacular 15-minute show will take place along the waterfront at Al Hamra.

Ras Al Khaimah is planning another Guinness World Records-worthy pyrotechnic fireworks performance this New Year’s Eve, which will feature pyrodrones, lights, colours and shapes to welcome in 2026.

The 15-minute centrepiece will be one of the largest firework displays in the world, stretching across six kilometres from Marjan Island to Al Hamra. More than 2,300 drones, including both pyro and laser drones, will paint intricate formations overhead before the night reaches its climax at midnight with the launch of the largest single firework ever seen in Ras Al Khaimah.

The New Year’s Eve programme features two dedicated firework displays to ensure as many people as possible can join the celebrations. The first show will illuminate the sky above Corniche Al Qawasim at 8pm, offering families and residents an earlier chance to experience the festivities before the main countdown.

Ras Al Khaimah New Year’s Eve

At midnight, all eyes will turn to Marjan Island and Al Hamra bay, where the signature 15-minute spectacle will combine advanced pyrotechnics with large-scale drone choreography, creating a dramatic welcome to the new year.

The free-to-enter Ras Al Khaimah New Year’s Eve Festival invites residents and visitors to spend the entire day soaking up the atmosphere ahead of the midnight show. The festival grounds will host live entertainment, food trucks and carnival-style activities from 2pm at Al Hamra.

This year’s stage programme brings an international flavour to the celebrations. Guests can expect high-energy sets from DJ BobMix, known for his blend of international and Arabic hits, a live performance by Indo-Canadian Bollywood singer Shweta Subram, and an international set by DJ Bia.

With 13 GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ titles achieved in the past seven years, Ras Al Khaimah has firmly established itself as a global leader in New Year’s Eve spectacles.
