One of the Arab world’s most celebrated artists, the acclaimed singer has won many accolades, including ‘Best Arabia Act’ at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2010, and ‘Best Singer’ at the MTV Music Awards in 2008. Fans can expect world-class production, real emotion and the perfect summer ambience.
‘Sammaouny’ is Hamaki’s latest album, consisting of 18 songs, including a duet with the equally iconic Arab superstar Sherine. The new album sees Hamaki collaborate with a variety of writers, poets and composers, such as Tamer Hussein, Aziz Elshafei, late Mohamed Rahim, Amr Mostafa, Ayman Bahgat Kamar, Amir Teima, and more. ‘Sammaouny’ comes after Hamaki’s 2024 LP ‘Howa El Asa’.
Born on 4 November 1975, Hamaki is one of Egypt’s and the region’s most talented male singers to date. He released his first single in 1997 and his first album, ‘Khalina Neesh’ (Let’s Live) in 2003.
