Rehla is opening at City Centre Mirdif.
It's back by the Independent Food Company.
It'll feature Gulf-inspired dining so expect tons of Khaleeji flavours.
A new Gulf-inspired dining concept called Rehla is coming to City Centre Mirdif, bringing modern Khaleeji flavours and regional hospitality to Dubai.
There’s no shortage of exciting food in the UAE. From hole-in-the-wall spots serving up generations-old recipes to new restaurants putting a modern spin on regional favourites, the country has become something of a playground for Gulf cuisine. Now, a new concept called Rehla looks set to add another name to the mix, bringing Gulf-inspired dining to Dubai.
Set to open at City Centre Mirdif sometime this year, Rehla comes from Independent Food Company, the hospitality group behind homegrown names including SALT, Public, Somewhere and Parker’s. Known for creating experience-led dining concepts, the group has built a reputation for taking familiar ideas and giving them a fresh, contemporary edge.
While the finer details of Rehla are still under wraps, the concept is expected to centre around modern dining inspired by Khaleeji heritage, regional hospitality and local flavours. In other words, expect the kind of food that feels familiar, nostalgic and unmistakably Gulf — but with a contemporary twist.

We’re still waiting for Rehla to reveal its official menu, but if the concept stays true to its Gulf-inspired brief, there are plenty of traditional dishes that could make an appearance. Expect the likes of machboos, madrouba, thareed, balaleet, chebab, khameer, luqaimat, and much more to grace the menu.
Rehla promises to offer a fresh take on the region’s culinary heritage, particularly with Independent Food Company’s track record of creating highly visual, experience-led concepts. There’s no confirmed opening date for Rehla in Dubai just yet, but if you’re a fan of Khaleeji flavours or are always on the lookout for the city’s next big restaurant opening, keep your eyes peeled. Rehla could be one to watch.
