The group behind the world’s first three-star Indian restaurant is headed to the capital.
Dubai’s homegrown modern Indian restaurant, Trèsind, is heading to London after making its mark in Dubai and Mumbai. Billed as a “modernist Indian dining experience,” the concept is set to expand from Dubai to London, and here’s what to expect.
Passion F&B aims to introduce its brands to new markets, which include London, New York and Riyadh. Founder and Managing Director of Passion F&B, Bhupender Nath, shared with Caterer Middle East: “Expansion is key in our strategy, and Europe is our next target alongside openings in London and Riyadh. Our strategy hinges on cultural adaptation while maintaining the essence of our culinary heritage. It’s about striking that balance between authenticity and global appeal.”
The restaurant will open in London’s upmarket Mayfair at 13 Hanover Square in early 2026. Expect a dining room that is elegant yet understated, setting the stage for clever interpretations of Indian cooking that balance nostalgia with innovation. If the Dubai restaurant is anything to go by, diners are in for a fantastic foodie experience. In 2014, Trèsind opened, before relocating to One&Only Royal Mirage, where the restaurant offers a theatrical dining experience with an open kitchen and carefully curated plates.

Chef Himanshu Saini is behind the menus, which bring together seasonal ingredients, sophistication and storytelling. At the heart of the menu is innovative Indian food, which makes you rethink your perceptions of the country’s cuisine. If the Dubai menu is anything to go by, diners in London can expect signatures such as Scarlet Prawns Crudo with Kashmiri Chilli XO, and Prawn Papad with Beluga Caviar, alongside premium cuts like an A5 wagyu striploin prepared in the spirit of a pathar kebab.
With the London opening on the way, it’s worth noting Trèsind’s sibling, Trèsind Studio, holds three MICHELIN stars in Dubai, underscoring the group’s culinary ambitions.
