The Swiss watchmaker’s latest release combines pastel tones, lightweight materials and solar-powered performance.
TAG Heuer is bringing fresh energy to the wrist with the release of its new Formula 1 Solargraph 38mm collection. The latest drop sees the Swiss watchmaker rework one of its most recognisable silhouettes with a softer colour palette, modern materials and a movement powered by light.
The new collection is built around the Caliber TH50-00 Solargraph movement, which draws energy from both natural and artificial light. Designed for everyday ease, the technology means the watch does not require a traditional battery change. According to TAG Heuer, just one minute of direct sunlight can power the timepiece for an entire day, while a full charge can be achieved in under 40 hours. Once fully charged, the watch can run for up to ten months in complete darkness.

The Formula 1 Solargraph 38mm collection also offers a practical restart function. After being stored away, the watch can begin running again with just ten seconds of light exposure. The accumulator is designed to last for up to 15 years, adding further longevity to the release.
The collection arrives in five pastel tones, each offering a different take on the Formula 1 design language. Pastel blue, pastel pink and beige opaline dial models are housed in 38mm TH-Polylight cases, a lightweight material designed for comfort and durability. Each is finished with a bidirectional turning bezel, a colour-matched rubber strap and a steel pin buckle.

For those seeking a more elevated finish, the pastel green and lavender-blue models are presented in sandblasted steel cases with three-row steel bracelets. These versions also feature eight VS diamonds set into rhodium-plated polished shield indexes, adding a subtle touch of shine to the sporty design.
Across the collection, each watch features a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, 100-metre water resistance and hands coated with white Super-LumiNova. The finish ensures clear daytime visibility, while green luminescence improves readability in low-light conditions.
One model of the new TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph comes with added collector appeal. The pastel pink opal dial edition is limited to 1,110 pieces, marking the 110th anniversary of the Indy 500 in 2026.
