The Ferrari Luce will mark a new chapter for the Prancing Horse, combining electric performance with an interior designed by LoveFrom.

Ferrari is preparing to enter a bold new era. The Italian luxury carmaker is set to unveil its first fully electric vehicle, the Ferrari Luce, with a global debut expected in Rome this May. The four-seater model marks a significant moment for the Maranello marque, as it moves further into the electric performance space while preserving the exclusivity, craftsmanship and driving emotion that define the brand.

The Ferrari Luce is expected to sit at the top end of the marque’s production line-up. Reports suggest preliminary pricing could start at around €550,000 ($647,000) before personalisation, while some reports place the figure even higher, depending on market and specification.

Performance will remain central to the car’s identity. The Luce is rumoured to feature a 122 kWh battery pack and a quad-motor powertrain producing more than 1,000 horsepower. That setup would allow Ferrari to deliver the kind of acceleration, control, and road presence expected of the Prancing Horse, but on an all-electric platform.

Inside, Ferrari appears to be taking a more considered approach than many of its electric rivals. Rather than building the cabin around a large tablet-style screen, the brand has collaborated with Jony Ive and Marc Newson’s creative collective, LoveFrom, on an interior that places physical interaction at the forefront.

The result is expected to include tactile switches, precision-machined aluminium details and glass elements, creating a cabin that feels more like a finely engineered instrument than a tech-first EV lounge. It is a design direction that favours elegance, materiality and craftsmanship over digital overload.

The Luce also reflects Ferrari’s careful approach to electrification. While many luxury carmakers are racing to expand their EV line-ups, Ferrari is using its first electric model to reinforce rarity rather than chase volume. By blending electric performance with bespoke design and grand touring practicality, the Luce could become one of the most talked-about automotive launches of the year.

The full exterior reveal is expected to take place in Rome in May 2026.
