The street will be located within the newly launched Dubai Gold District, a concentrated hub designed to bring the city’s gold and jewellery ecosystem under one dedicated destination.
Positioned as Dubai’s new “Home of Gold”, the Gold Street is envisioned as a one-stop address for all things gold and jewellery. Beyond retail, the wider district is set to support bullion trading, wholesale activity, and investment-focused businesses, signalling that this is intended to be more than a photogenic shopping strip. It is designed to operate as a serious centre for commerce, as well as a place to browse, buy, and commission pieces.
Several well-known names are already associated with the district, including Jawhara Jewellery, Malabar Gold and Diamonds, Al Romaizan, Tanishq Jewellery and Joyalukkas. In total, the Dubai Gold District is expected to bring together more than 1,000 retailers across gold, jewellery, perfumery, cosmetics and lifestyle categories.
The move builds on Dubai’s long-standing position as a global gold trading hub, attracting buyers from around the world and reinforcing the metal’s role in daily life here, from weddings and celebrations to gifting, collecting and investing.
