Raspoutine in Dubai: The legendary Parisian club is opening in DIFC

From A-listers to Art Déco, here’s what to expect from the new DIFC hotspot.

What do Rita Hayworth, Bradley Cooper and Kanye West all have in common? They are all fans of Paris’ legendary club, Raspoutine. If you want to see what all the A-list fuss is about, then you’ll be pleased to hear that the nightlife hotspot is opening in DIFC, Dubai.

Raspoutine knows how to get the party started, as it has notched up more than 50 years of experience entertaining guests. Famous faces have also included the likes of Marlene Dietrich, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio and Aga Khan. Raspoutine recently opened clubs in Los Angeles and Miami, and is hoping to bring some of its same success to Dubai.

Raspoutine in Dubai aims to be a party hotspot with a club-meets-restaurant atmosphere. The original venue drew inspiration from Russian cabaret, but today there is a soundtrack of deep house music to help you get into the groove.

The venue oozes opulence, thanks to its Baroque-style chandeliers, velvet finishes, deep red curtains and sofas, and Moulin Rouge-esque vibes. Lookout for Art Deco nods to the Russian born French artist Erté, who designed costumes and stage sets for films as epic as Ben-Hur. 

The menu boasts Russian dishes with a French twist, which include wagyu beef pirojkis, duck and foie gras pelmeni, and spaghetti with caviar, of course. Plus, the drinks menu includes Russian-inspired cocktail concoctions, such as the matryoshka, tsar and zolotaya vishnya.
