Oman opens sultanate’s largest wildlife attraction, Safari World

The attraction features thrilling experiences and over 300 exotic animals.

The sultanate’s tourism landscape just got wilder with the grand opening of Safari World Oman.

Spanning 150,000-square-kilometers, Safari World is located in Ibra and is the sultanate’s largest zoo. It promises to be a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and families in search of an animal encounter.

Here, you’ll discover over 300 magnificent creatures, including alligators, lions, tigers, and zebras. Now Safari World is not content with just being the largest zoo in Oman — it’s taking it up a notch. Plans are already in motion to expand the species of animals, with aspirations to accommodate over 1,000 animals in the near future.
