Wazuzhu has just opened its doors on Palm Jumeirah.
The dragon motif is synonymous with China, making an appearance in everything from legends and festivals to astrology and art. But unlike tales from the West, this mythical creature symbolises power and good fortune in Chinese culture, according to which the dragon has nine sons. And so auspicious are these nine sons that there’s now a dining venue dedicated to them: Wazuzhu.
Located at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on Palm Jumeirah, the Pan Asian restaurant and lounge captures the sights and sounds of the Asian highlife, making it the perfect venue for dinner, entertainment and nightcap cocktails. Wazuzhu promises to take diners on an exceptional journey of Asian cuisine in an enchanting setting, complete with short bursts of theatrical entertainment.
Created and overseen by Executive Chef Raul, the Pan-Asian menu is designed for sharing. Guests can dine on a vast array of mouth-watering dishes and culinary masterpieces that speak of the rich traditions behind Asian cuisine. And because the name Wazuzhu translates to ‘nine dragons’, the dragon motif is omnipresent – ornaments, wall inscriptions, and more.
