The charming and intimate restaurant features neon slogans across the walls, pretty cacti and an authentic cantina feel that embraces the simplicity of a venue anchored around simple bench-style seating and a central bar.
The appealing menu includes all of your Mexican favourites, from tortilla chips and guacamole to piping hot churros dipped in a delectable chocolate sauce. The tasty a la carte menu takes diners on a journey from the Caribbean sea to the Sierra de Los Tuxtlas Mountains, taking in exemplary dishes such as the picture-perfect tuna ceviche and charcoal octopus along the way. Of course, there is also an extensive choice of salads, burritos, tostadas, quesadillas and tacos. We’d highly recommend the light and flavoursome snapper tacos, accompanied by Habanero coleslaw, garlic aioli and a spritz of lime juice.
In the five years since its opening, Muchachas Mexican Cantina has gained a reputation for not only a reasonably priced menu and extensive beverage list but also its weekly roster of promotions.
Mondays Ladies’ Night
Grab the girls on Monday nights and head down to the lively Mexican cantina for a night of fun. Upon purchasing one item from Muchachas’ ‘off-the-street’ menu, ladies will receive three complimentary cocktails. Mondays, from 8pm to 11pm.
Wednesday Unlimited Tacos
There is no such thing as Taco Tuesday at Muchachas. Instead, diners can indulge in unlimited soft shell tacos on Wednesday evenings. For just AED 99 per person, gather your family and friends for a night of tasty tacos in unlimited quantities from 7pm.
Friday Brunch
For fantastic food and a fun-filled party vibe, Muchachas’ Friday Mexican Brunch ticks all of the boxes. Enjoy a selection of Mexican favourites expertly prepared by Chef Rene, accompanied by live Latin music, games and unlimited beverages. Fridays from 1pm to 4pm. AED 179 (soft beverages), AED 279 (house beverages) and AED 379 (premium beverages).
Weekday Business Lunch
Take a break from the busy workday and spend your lunch break tucking into a three-course meal of Mexican specialities. Start with complimentary chips and salsa before selecting either the house salad or butter corn as an appetiser. Continue onto the main course with either pan-fried salmon, Cuban wrap, grilled Guajillo chicken or vegetarian Chile Relleno. Before finishing the meal with piping hot churros. Available Sunday to Thursday, from 12:30pm to 3pm. AED 65 per person.
Daily Happy Hour
Perfect for after-work drinks or pre-dinner partying, Muchachas Mexican Cantina’s daily happy hour includes selected hops, grapes, spirits and margaritas for 30 AED, between 4pm to 8pm.
