French-Mediterranean restaurant August has debuted at Address Fountain Views

The striking new venue features three specially curated spaces.

January may be synonymous with swearing off vices, but August – not the month, but the new restaurant and lounge – is all about indulgence. Located on the 12th floor of Address Fountain Views, the French Baroque-inspired concept promises an explosion of flavours, art and entertainment. Here, diners are taken on a journey through three specially curated spaces – The Dining Room, The Cocktail Room, and The Terrace Garden – each designed to offer a distinct experience.

The Dining Room is a space made for socialising over a meal with drinks, where August’s head chef, Juan Pablo Rey Nores, whips up a series of French-Mediterranean favourites. Starters include the likes of Wagyu Carpaccio, Escargots, and Foie Gras Brioche, while the mains span Lobster Tagliatelle, Sea Bass Papillote and Steak Frites. The desserts section, meanwhile, features French classics like Crêpes Suzette alongside Caramel Fondant and August Chocolate Dream.

The Cocktail Room – labelled as the Speakeasy Space – is a weekend party place where guests can enjoy the warmth of house parties and a variety of cocktails by August’s mixologists. Guests will be welcomed into this room with smoke, a state-of-the-art sound system and a unique laser show that sets the mood. August will also be featuring a line-up of DJs, and amongst the roster is resident DJ Josho, known for his no-rule music ideology.

Finally, The Terrace Garden is an outdoor space filled with calming greenery, offering views of Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai to boot. Incidentally, art is at the centre of this new culinary experience – the venue will feature various art galleries in its space every month, starting with Ayyam Gallery.
