Lebanese Latin restaurant Esco-bar arrives on Palm Jumeirah

Enjoy Latin beats and bites at this new venue in Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah.

Lovers of all things Latin, listen up. Esco-bar Coctel y Cocina is opening its first outlet in Dubai, and it will be home to Latin bites and beats.

Located inside the Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah, the venue is opening in mid-October and looks set to be a cool new hangout.

Esco-bar hopes to bring some of its popular Lebanese credentials to Dubai, as the brand has seven outlets in Lebanon and one in Cairo. Esco-bar in Dubai will be an upmarket spot, accommodating up to 220-people. So, whether you’re catching up with friends or dining with clients, it has an area to suit your needs. The venue describes itself as having a breezy aesthetic, which are enhanced by Palm views.

Guests can tuck into a no-nonsense Ten-Mex fiesta including fajitas, quesadillas, tacos and entradas. If the Lebanese menu is anything to go by, we are hoping that it includes dishes such as rollitos de salmon y mango (smock salmon, mango, avocado and rocket); calamar a la parilla (marinated grilled calamari); and crujente de pollo (breaded chicken strips served with honey mustard dressing).

Esco-bar in Dubai is the first extended franchise restaurant from the hospitality group MEC in the UAE. Marc Chehade, founder and CEO of Esco-bar, explained: “We are incredibly thrilled to sign a franchise agreement with Tex-Mex Restaurants LLC for the UAE and the first outlet is set to open in Dubai at Palm West Beach.”

As for Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah, this is the hotel brand’s first beach resort in Dubai, and it will have easy access to the beach and an onsite swimming pool. The hotel promises to be palatial in proportions and ornately designed, and includes a spa with a Moroccan bath and a range of dining venues, from an all-day dining restaurant to a pool bar.

The concept joins the soon-to-open Black Flamingo and Tonino Lamborghini Mare Nostrum at Palm Jumeirah’s newest beach hotel.

Esco-bar in Dubai will be open seven days a week from 12pm to 2am.
