RSVP restaurant is opening in Dubai’s Boxpark

Enjoy fun French food at this new restaurant.

RSVP (Répondez s’il vous plait) is one restaurant you’ll want to say yes to. The new restaurant in Dubai is opening in July, and is located in the hip Boxpark. So, get ready for some joie de vivre, as RSVP restaurant aims to mix French traditions with Asian flair and create a fun new hotspot in the city.

Atelier House Hospitality, the company responsible for restaurants including Marea, Mohalla and the MICHELIN-starred 11 Woodfire, is behind the creation of RSVP, so we are hoping that they bring some of the same foodie magic to the new restaurant.

RSVP restaurant invites guests to take their time over their meal, and relax while soaking up the atmosphere. The restaurant will offer diners everything from an early morning espresso to long lunches and late-night rendezvous.

French chef de cuisine, Aadel Ouaoua, is bringing his expertise to RSVP. The chef has worked with Parisian chefs including Benoit Dargere and Cyril Lignac, but has combined his love of Japanese and Mediterranean cooking to create the food at RSVP.

RSVP’s décor is designed by Samar Zakhem, who is behind many of Atelier House Hospitality’s restaurants. The space is a cross between a dining room and a collector’s gallery, as the shelves are decorated with art ranging from paintings to photography.

The sophisticated spot has mahogany walls and dim lights, which are brightened up by colourful cushions. Plus, the Art Deco touches throughout, like the large curved mirrors, add to the overall elegance.

Managing director of Atelier House Hospitality, Panchali Mahendra, says: “I chose RSVP as the name of the venue given its French origins of répondez s’il vous plait meaning please reply. The sophistication and grace the word RSVP evokes make it easy to roll off the tongue and stamps the word in the minds of every guest.

“Chef Aadel Ouaoua was a natural choice given his vast experience working under some of the greatest legends in the culinary world. RSVP makes a bold statement from the concept, location, and a refined yet approachable ambience.” Bon appétit, Dubai.

A sucker for a good story, if you invite Kohinoor to a gallery, comedy night, new restaurant, hiking trip, cycle ride, pool day or just about any activity, she’ll probably say yes – that is if she isn’t busy planning her next adventure.
