Saudi’s all-villa resort boasts rooms in a dramatic desert landscape.

Imagine opening the curtains and seeing dramatic dunes right outside your window. Well, at Banyan Tree AlUla, you can do just that. So, if you’re after an unparalleled desert getaway, put this all-villa resort in the depths of Saudi Arabia’s AlUla on your radar. 

Banyan Tree AlUla makes the most of its glorious landscapes. The resort includes 82 incredible villas with enviable desert and mountain views. The rooms range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom villas. The dune three-bedroom pool villa is the most impressive – spanning 2,583 square feet, it can sleep up to six people. Plus, it includes a large living area, dining table for ten people and a private swimming pool.

At Banyan Tree AlUla, guests can choose between two dining venues. The restaurants include Arabic-fusion cuisine at Alban, and modern Thai at Saffron. While wellness fans will be pleased to hear that there is a signature Banyan Tree Spa, plus a fitness centre, swimming pool and yoga.

Fancy getting away? Saudia and Flynas fly to AlUla. The destination is a two-hour flight from Riyadh, one hour and fifteen-minute flight from Jeddah, and three-hour flight from Dubai. 

The new AlUla resort is open for bookings from 24 October, and room rates start from SAR 5,386 per night. A sanctuary in the desert? Yes, please.
