French restaurant Le Comptoir de Nicole opens in Jeddah this week

The brand brings Côte d’Azur vibes to Jeddah Yacht Club.

Le Comptoir de Nicole is adding some joe de vivre to Saudi Arabia’s dining scene. The trendy French bistro is opening at Jeddah Yacht Club, and will bring the spirit of the Côte d’Azur to the city. 

Le Comptoir de Nicole in Jeddah draws its inspiration from the Côte d’Azur. As the area is a playground for the rich and famous, the new restaurant aims to make guests feel like a VIP. So far, we know that the interiors will reflect the flagship restaurant in Nice. The décor will feature red and white stripes, raw materials, brass, wood and terracotta pots.

The Jeddah menu is an ode to Mediterranean cuisine with fresh, hand-picked produce. The starters include Onion Pissaladière, Niçoise Salad and Tuna Csarpaccio. Mains include meat, fish, and pasta dishes such as Australian Wagyu Tomahawk, Lamb Chops with Eggplant Caviar and Truffle Mafaldine.

Nicole Rubi, Domenico Iaria and Riccardo Giraudi have worked together to bring the brand to Saudi Arabia. Nicole Rubi explained: “Le Comptoir de Nicole is a vibrant place where you can spend quality time with friends and family, all with a profound sense of belonging. Despite the geographical distance from its home on Rue Saint Francois de Paule, I am confident that we have found a new home in Jeddah with the support of Cool Inc.”

The restaurant joins Emmy Squared Pizza, Marina Social, and Mashi No Mashi at Jeddah Yacht Club and will open its doors on Wednesday, 10 May.
