Set on a marina-facing site in Jeddah Central, the site will feature a five-star hotel, branded residences and world-class wellness.

Mandarin Oriental Jeddah is expected to open in 2030, bringing a new level of luxury hospitality to Saudi Arabia and strengthening the Group’s growing presence in the region. Joining the brand’s properties in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, Muscat and Riyadh, the new address will anchor one of the most prestigious plots within Jeddah Central, the city’s landmark waterfront development on the Red Sea.

Positioned in the very heart of Jeddah Central, the hotel and branded residences will sit within a master planned community that features a state-of-the-art marina, private residences, retail and dining districts, cultural attractions and four headline landmarks, including an opera house, an oceanarium, a sports stadium and a museum. Mandarin Oriental Jeddah will offer sweeping views across the Red Sea and direct access to the marina lifestyle that is set to define the district.

Renowned design firm KPF has been appointed as master planner and architect, sharing the Group’s ambition to create a contemporary, sustainable structure that feels rooted in its surroundings. The hotel will feature 140 elegantly appointed guestrooms and suites, all oriented to capture the Red Sea views. A further 115 spacious apartments, with a mix of guestrooms and private dining spaces, will cater to long-stay guests who want the comfort of a residence with the services of a luxury hotel.

In addition, 187 branded residences will range from two to four bedroom privately owned homes, with residents enjoying access to exclusive amenities including a lounge, entertainment spaces, library, cinema, games room, golf simulator, children’s club, swimming pool and fitness centre, all underpinned by Mandarin Oriental’s signature service.

Dining will be a key part of the experience. Guests will be able to choose from five restaurants and lounges scattered throughout the grounds, including speciality concepts that showcase Mandarin Oriental’s renowned gastronomy. The property will also offer generous meeting and event facilities, including a spacious ballroom, positioning the hotel as a compelling choice for weddings, celebrations, and corporate gatherings.

Wellness sits at the heart of the project. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental will present an extensive menu of the Group’s signature wellness, beauty and spa experiences, designed to elevate holistic wellbeing for residents and visitors alike.

The news follows last week’s announcement that Atlantis and One&Only will also open side-by-side resorts within the Jeddah Central masterplan on the Red Sea.
