The new opening marks Raffles’ second hotel in Saudi Arabia.

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is famous around the world, from its first opening in Singapore to its recent opening in London. Now, Raffles Hotels & Resorts is making a grand entrance on Saudi Arabia’s west coast. Raffles Jeddah will open for bookings from 25 May 2026, bringing the storied hospitality brand to one of the Kingdom’s most culturally significant cities.

Set along Jeddah’s historic Corniche, the hotel has been designed as a refined Red Sea retreat, combining sweeping coastal views with the brand’s signature butler service. The opening marks the second Raffles property in Saudi Arabia, following Raffles Makkah Palace, and further strengthens Accor’s growing presence in the Kingdom.

Design plays a central role in the Raffles Jeddah experience. Inspired by the city’s maritime history and Hejazi heritage, the architecture features mashrabiya screens, carved wood latticework and a striking golden entrance that nods to the Raffles legacy. Inside, Robert Angell has shaped the guestrooms, suites and public spaces, while Tristan Du Plessis has overseen the spa and wellness areas.

The hotel features 182 guestrooms, including 40 suites, each offering uninterrupted Red Sea views. Starting from approximately 66 square metres, the rooms are among the largest in the city, with soft pastel tones inspired by the colours of the sea and sky. Local motifs and curated artworks add a sense of place throughout.

Dining is a key part of the offering. Surl’O is an all-day brasserie overlooking the Red Sea, serving dishes inspired by both Eastern and Western culinary traditions. Atorie Lounge & Patisserie brings together French pâtisserie and Japanese precision, with plum and black sesame pastries, matcha éclairs and an afternoon tea ritual served from a bespoke trolley. A third signature restaurant will be announced later, drawing inspiration from the rhythm of the sea and the easy elegance of the Mediterranean.

Wellness is equally important. Raffles Spa and Wellness features separate areas for ladies and gentlemen, complete with treatment rooms, Moroccan hammams, fitness centres and swimming pools. A private couple’s treatment suite is also available.

For events, Raffles Jeddah offers six meeting rooms, a business centre, VIP lounge, expansive pre-function areas and two dramatic venues, the Pearl and Crystal Ballrooms, suspended above the plaza with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the city.

The hotel’s location places guests close to some of Jeddah’s key attractions, including Fakih Aquarium, Al Shalal Theme Park, Red Sea Mall and Boulevard Jeddah. King Abdulaziz International Airport is also just a 25-minute drive away, making the property well-positioned for both business and leisure travellers.

“Raffles Jeddah has been thoughtfully designed to celebrate the spirit of this remarkable city while delivering the elegance and highly personalised service that defines the Raffles brand,” said Fredrik Blomqvist, General Manager, Raffles Jeddah. “From the architecture and art to culinary and wellness experiences, every detail reflects our commitment to creating a destination that feels both locally rooted and globally sophisticated.”

The first entry into the Kingdom for the Raffles brand will soon be followed by Raffles Trojena on a spectacular mountainside in northwest Saudi Arabia, Raffles Diriyah in Wadi Hanifah, and Raffles Red Sea on Shura Island.
